  1. Mark T Hudson says:

Are the remaining 3 mystery plane slots going to get assigned?
Is the “Fat Albert” going to be there? (Blue Angels C-130 Hercules)

  2. Faye says:

Good morning. I have purchased Drop Zone tix for myself & the family for Sunday May 5, where can I find out about parking and what is allowed to be brought to the beach, ie, umbrellas, coolers chairs etc. My hubby is in a neck brace due to surgery a couple of months back so we are trying to make sure we have a plan…

    • FL Air Show says:

Hey Faye, we’ll be posting our FAQ page shortly, but for Drop Zone, you are allowed to bring an umbrella, cooler and your own chairs. However, alcohol is strictly prohibited, and all coolers and bags will be subject to search.

  3. Joshua says:

Will we be able to pop up a small shade tent for the kids or only umbrellas are allowed? Where exactly is the vip section (what street?) Will the entire beach be a general admission area and need to pay or will there be a free section??

    • FL Air Show says:

Hey Joshua, only beach umbrellas are allowed – we cannot allow awnings or pop-up tents. The Drop Zone Beach starts right at Sunrise Blvd and runs north, and the Flight Line Club VIP is north of Birch Park on the beach. These ticketed sections are close to show center and have sound piped in so you can hear everything going on!

  4. Eric says:

Is there still chances of other jet demo teams making an appearance or is it pretty much locked in with what’s posted above?

  5. Gregg berger says:

I purchased flight line vip for this year. I received my tickets immediately but I have not gotten my parking pass or credentials as of yet. Should I have them by now?

    • FL Air Show says:

Hi Gregg, we’ll be sending out parking instructions shortly. VIP parking is at Birch State Park, so you’ll show your VIP pass to the guard when you arrive. They will allow you in. We will have golf carts taking guests from the park down to the VIP Flight Line Club area, where you will pick up your credentials by having your tickets scanned.

  6. Christopher says:

Any chance of a stealth bomber or similar in the near future? I was there the last time it was there when the original shows were going on. I have gone to the shows since they 1st started and very happy to have them back these few years and hopefully many more!

    • FL Air Show says:

We would love to have them as well. It all depends on ops tempo and if they are flying the weekend of the show. Believe me, our flight ops team keeps in touch with them!

  7. Samuel says:

Can you guys add a few more jets ??? Maybe an F-16 or perhaps an F-15. I’d even settle for an F-111. Oops, oh yeah you guys retired that one. What I really want to see is a C5 Galaxy in inverted flight !! Come on lets put on a show !!!

I attended the 1st air show in ft Lauderdale 25 years ago. Will there be a very large loud plane coming from the back of the crowd? That was amazing! My son was 15 at the time:was complaining about the heat:and other viewers were stepping on our blanket and using our cooler as a heightened view assist so their children could see better. I payed for the dropzone once and I was not allowed to bring my cooler in.. So did not go in. I love the air and sea show:sad when it was taken away for a few years. I remember the free gifts and etc.. Things have changed since then I know… Looking forward to it.. Will there be entertainment after dark?

  8. Marcel Heuseveldt says:

Comming over all the way from The Netherlands to sse the show and most of all looking forward to see and hear the Raptor……

  9. Claudia Root says:

Will I be able to see the show from an Ocean View room at the W Fort Lauderdale? I just booked a room with a balcony there.

    • FL Air Show says:

We can’t guarantee the views from any of the hotels outside the main flight line area; however show center is between Sunrise Boulevard and 18th Street, so you are not too far south.

    • FL Air Show says:

Hey Susan, yes, the show line-up will be the same both days. We might change around the order of performers from Saturday to Sunday, but the type of planes that fly will be identical.

  10. R.L. Thode says:

I would love to see the B-1 Lancer do a couple fly-bys! One with wings full forward, another swept full back with afterburners blazing.

    • Brian says:

We had a B1 do a “show of force” while deployed over in afghanistan. Not much of a “threat” but when going supersonic, it’ll make your ears bleed! ‘Murica!

    • FL Air Show says:

Hi Serena, the show runs from about noon to around 4 pm. We can’t guarantee that you will be able to see it, but you might if your boarding time is sometime in the afternoon!
