Frequently Asked Questions

      • What time does the Event Site open?
        The displays, exhibits and Drop Zone Beach open at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday.
      • What time does the Flight Line Club and Chalets open?
        The Flight Line Club and Corporate Chalets open each day at 10 am.
      • What time will the performers be flying?
        Performances are from approximately 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
      • What time will the practices be on Friday?
        Practice schedules are subject to change and are therefore not published.
      • How long is the event?
        Eight hours each day, gates open at 9 am and close at 5 pm.
      • Will the schedule be the same both days?
        The majority of the performer line up will be the same both days, though they may fly in a different sequence of flight each day.
      • Can I go in and out of the Drop Zone Beach and VIP areas?
        Yes, you will receive a wristband that will allow you to go out and re-enter the ticketed area.
      • What do you recommend to bring to the show?
        Sunscreen, a beach chair and an umbrella for shade. Everything else is available in the Drop Zone Beach.
      • Are backpacks allowed into the Drop Zone?
        Backpacks are allowed and will be subject to security inspection upon entry.
      • Are cameras and video recorders allowed?
        Yes, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you would like.
      • Can I bring a cooler to the air show?
        Yes.  However, coolers will be checked upon entry.  Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
      • Are pets allowed on the beach?
        No, city ordinances prohibit bringing pets onto the beach.
      • Is there going to be food & drinks available for purchase in the Drop Zone Beach area?
        Yes, a variety of food and beverage items will be available including beer ranging in price from $3-$15.
      • Alcohol is available for purchase in the Drop Zone?
        Yes, beer will be available for purchase on-site.  No outside alcohol can be brought into the Drop Zone Beach area.
      • Will food and beverage available for purchase be cash only? Will credit cards be accepted?
        Food and beverage vendors will accept both cash and credit cards.
      • Will vegetarian/vegan/gluten-Free food options be available for purchase?
        While our concessionaire does make an every effort to ensure menu items are suitable for all guests, it is recommended that all attendees who have dietary restrictions  bring food appropriate to their food needs.
      • Are there any shaded areas?
        Shade is limited as the show viewing area is on the beach. You will be allowed to bring a hand-held personal or beach umbrella. Beach umbrellas will be provided to guests in our Flight Line Club VIP area. Drop Zone Beach is bring your own.
      • Can I bring a tent or awning?
        Due to safety concerns for all patrons, personal tents or awnings are not allowed on air show grounds. Personal hand-held or beach umbrellas are allowed.
      • Can I bring a BBQ Grill?
        BBQ Grills are strictly prohibited.
      • Do I need to bring my own seating or can I purchase/rent seating there at the event?
        We recommend that all attendees with Drop Zone tickets bring their own seating. Personal seating is discouraged from being brought into the Flight Line VIP or Corporate Chalet Clubs, as seating is provided in each of these venues.
      • Will there be a broadcast of the show’s narration on local radio?
        No. The only narration of the air show will be available in the Drop Zone, Flight Line Club, Corporate Chalets and VIP Penthouse.
      • Do you recommend ear protection for children?
        Some children wear ear protection, some do not. It is completely up to you.
      • How do I request media credentials?

      • Where is Lost & Found located?
        At the box office tent located in front of Birch State Park on A1A.
      • What are your preferred hotels?
        Our Host-Hotels page features the hotels where the pilots and teams are staying.
      • Do you have any special provisions for the handicapped?
        Our show site is ADA compliant. Any patrons with handicap needs will be responsible for entering and exiting the beach if they would like to view the show from the sand. Please give yourself extra time to get onto the beach.
      • What access do I receive with Blue Angels VIP tickets?
        Blue Angel VIP tickets allow for access into the Drop Zone at no charge.
      • Do you have senior citizen, military, student or other discounts?
        We offer a universal discount to everyone when you purchase your tickets in advance either online or by phone. There are no additional discounts.
      • Where can I park?
        Parking is available throughout the beach area, just as a normal beach day. The Galleria Mall will have limited parking available on Saturday and Sunday on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no shuttle buses, so please give yourself extra time to walk from the Galleria down to the show site. Flight Line Club VIP guests are provided parking, included in the price of your ticket. More information will come to you via email.
      • If I purchased tickets for Saturday can I use them on Sunday instead?
        Tickets are day specific. If you would like to change the date of your ticket, please contact our box office by telephone 877.301.8499 or email.
      • Can I present my tickets on my cell phone?
        You will be able to present your tickets for entry into the air show on your cell phone. Please make sure the brightness is turned up on your phone for optimal scanning. If you purchase Flight Line Club tickets which includes a parking pass, the parking pass must be printed and visible to parking and traffic attendants.
      • I purchased my tickets in advance, but have not received them. What do I do?

      • What is your Rain Policy?
        In the event of non-authorized intervention, weather or other causes beyond our control, the event may be terminated or suspended and tickets are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled in its entirety on Saturday due to weather, tickets will be honored on Sunday. If the event is cancelled in its entirety on Sunday or for the weekend due to weather, tickets will be refunded or honored at the 2020 event.
